How was EXDENSUR studied?

EXDENSUR was tested against placebo:

  • In 2 separate 1-year studies with 762 total patients with uncontrolled asthma, 12 years of age and older
  • To evaluate how well it reduced asthma attacks when added to current treatments

Patients in the study had an eosinophil count of 150 cells/mcL or higher. Eosinophils are a type of white blood cell that contributes to inflammation.
